i haven’t been following up on his alleged sickness: pancreatic cancer. i hope he’s doing ok. as much as i despise his business practices, i don’t wish death on him.

turns out, he finally had surgery to remove the cancer and has been doing better. what makes his investors nervous, however, was that he knew he had cancer for 9 months and deliberately avoided surgery.

cuz he’s buddhist.

shrug. i don’t recall buddhism ever saying anything against medical practices in any shape or form but apparently, steve jobs thinks so. and if steve jobs thinks so, by golly make it so.

steve steve steve…  you obviously misinterpreted buddhist thinking as you do with “pc’s”. buddhism doesn’t consider the modern medical practices themselves to be at fault- but only the greedy mindset behind the modern medicine business. it’s one thing to be hooked on drugs that keep you alive living with your cancer, and quite another thing to be completely cured of it.

but how sweet of you for putting buddha first. anyways, you may be asking “dude why’re you picking on him he just had cancer” and i’ll tell you why. cuz i hear people calling steve jobs a dedicated buddhist. really? i thought what he did would moreso put him in the “dumb ass” category. cuz when a christian or a catholic does that, we’re put in a “dumb ass” category instantly. but no, not steve jobs the buddhist. he’s a dedicated buddhist. you can be certain that he will hold fast to the teachings of buddha, of his interpretation.

hahahahahaha *wiping tears from my eyes* ok back to my zune podcasts.

apparently the vulcan 500 is a very tough sell, cuz i didn’t even get a response for $3,000. so i traded it in for an ER-6f, heheheh.

one thing i have to say about sports bikes is that they’re pee in your pants fast. it’s a weird feeling when you look at the speedometer and you don’t think it’s working right. is it windy outside? how can you tell when you’re cutting through air like a knife through cake?

and of course, it doesn’t hurt to find that you can actually turn more cuz you can bring the bike down lower. so am i convert? haha no. you have no idea how scary it is in traffic, on a sports bike. it’s almost like you’re a target sometimes- cars really don’t see (and hear) you at all.

when i roll down the street in a harley, cars move out of my way. it really is the difference between a runner and a gunner. on a sports bike you’re a rabbit, on a harley you’re a wolf. and you can be the meanest looking rabbit on the street, i guarantee no car is ever gonna be scared of you. the fact that some wolves have a reputation for physically carrying guns- you’d rather not get into a confrontation with a wolf, regardless.

it’s really two different power trips, power choices. do you want full control over speed, time and space? or do you want the power to give people fear. hahahah i’m only human ;)
